BEIJING,July20(Xinhua)--Astarifftensionsandgeopoliticaluncertaintiescontinuetorattletheglobaleconomy,the2025ChinaInternationalSupplyChainExpoisemergingasapromisingplatformtofosterresilient,diversifiedandcooperativeglobalsupplychains.

RunningfromWednesdaytoSundayinBeijing,thethirdeditionofthesupplychain-themedexpohasdrawnmorethan600exhibitors,notablythoseofcarmakers,logisticsprovidersandpharmaceuticalfirms,spanning75countriesandregions.

Againstthebackdropofmountingtradeprotectionismandrisingglobalfragmentation,theeventshowcasesChina'sbidtochampionopenness,innovationandinternationalcooperationinthefaceofgrowingheadwinds.

PLATFORMFORCOOPERATION

Theeventcomesatatimeofheightenedtradefrictionandmountinguncertainty,whichisexpectedtoweighheavilyonglobaleconomicactivity.InitsAprilforecast,theInternationalMonetaryFundprojectedglobalgrowthtoslowto2.8percentin2025and3percentin2026,downfrom3.3percentforbothyearsinitsJanuaryoutlook.
