The China-Laos Railway is becoming a "gateway" for Southeast Asian #cuisine to enter China. In the first half of this year, 1.672 million liters of Lao beer were imported via the railway, making it a "star product" among Southeast Asian food imports transported through this route. Specialty foods like Thai fully cooked frozen shrimp and Laotian coffee are also accelerating their entry into the Chinese market via this corridor.
